    Air Conditioner Maintenance

Our prevention plan is for clients that want their equipment and home to last and run efficiently. Our Preventative Maintenance Plan (PMP) is designed to take care of your entire home. One aspect that the PMP covers is your home's cooling system. The annual plan is affordable and the best way to prevent expensive breakdowns. The PMP includes the following:

Optimal performance check up: is an important part of your covered equipment and ensure it's operating at its best. A furnace and air conditioner tune-up, for example, can improve energy efficiency by as much as 15%. Our maintenance service includes cleaning the burner box, heat exchanger, evaporator coil, indoor fan, lube fan motors, electrical systems, voltage, and farad test.

Pre-emptive repairs: A ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This especially rings true with your homes comfort system. A new furnace or air conditioner can run anywhere from $1800 to $10,000 installed so it pays to have annual maintenance done, plus annual furnace and AC tune ups can help save energy and lower your cost of heating and cooling.

Safety checks: for gas leaks, carbon monoxide, combustion and exhaust gases. We'll make sure your home is safe.

Education: is included to help you understand the regular maintenance needs of your system. Regular maintenance that will help ensure your system works well.

Annual tune-ups: will be performed between February and August each year. This allows us to ensure we have adequate technical support during the cold winter months when breakdowns are more common.

Ductless Mini-Split Heating & Air Conditioning

Ductless, mini-split-system heat pumps (heat pump is a misleading term since heat pumps always provide both heating and cooling) make the perfect retrofit to houses with "non-ducted" heating and cooling systems. Common installations include houses or buildings with hydronic (hot water heat), radiant panels, and space heaters (wood, kerosene, propane). They are also be a good choice for room additions, offices, server rooms, or equipment closets, where extending or installing distribution ductwork is not feasible. | more

Leaking Ducts in Attics and Crawl Spaces Equals Lost Money

Most duct systems are installed in attics or in the crawl space where they are rarely seen or inspected. They may have been poorly sealed when installed, fittings may have come loose, and duct runs may have become disconnected. It's not uncommon to see ducts torn apart or disconnected by rodents, or completely crushed after the "cable-guy" crawled through. All of this leads to a lot of lost air - air that you pay to heat or cool.| more
